California Lighting Sales is very pleased to announce the appointment of David Burandt to the position of Agency Principal, effective immediately. Over the past 18 years, Dave has made a substantial contribution to the success of CLS, our manufacturers, and electrical industry partners. His unique combination of product knowledge, design skills, and negotiating expertise has positioned Dave as a leader in our industry and a tremendous asset to his customer base.

In his new role as Principal, Dave will be responsible for generating profitable lighting and controls sales growth, and establishing a sustainable competitive edge for CLS. In addition to serving his present customer base, David will assume overall responsibility for the CLS Distributor/Contractor sales team in areas including professional development, account realignment, and talent acquisition.
Dave has been in lighting for 28 years, the last 18 with California Lighting Sales. He is very proud to have worked on a number of public works projects in his current hometown. Being able to share these projects with his community is extremely rewarding. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from California State University at Fullerton, Go Titans! In addition to loving everything about lighting, he spends his free time fishing, camping, traveling, and playing the all too infrequent round of golf. He also enjoys baseball and spending time with his wife and two children.
David Burandt now joins Dave Klevens to represent the 4th generation of leadership in CLS’ 55-year history.
